CA grew up amidst the verdant fields of midwest farm country. From the age of four, she spent summers on an island in northwestern Ontario, Canada and winters among frozen fields. Her grandfather imparted his love for the natural world.

CA earned advanced degrees in geology and tectonics. She worked for an international petroleum company for many years and traveled the globe. Now she lives in the Rocky Mountains. Science and by extension science fiction fill the pages of her scifi/fantasy books in the Nexus Series. The ideas for her geopolitical thrillers are taken from the front page of today’s newspapers.

CA struggles to balance time for writing with her love of long-distance cycling. Her life is enriched and sustained by her love for JP, best friend and mate for more than 50 years.
