The Mum Job

Calum Jones doesn’t start his afterlife on the best of terms. He wakes up in an uninspiring waiting room biding his time. Just as he begins to fear that this is it, he’s brought to the Afterlife Agency, a job centre where those who have passed away are assigned to help out the living in their daily life struggles. After Calum is sent on his first assignment, things go downhill pretty fast. What was supposed to be a fairly straightforward job, turns out to be chaotic, messy, and not like anything he thought he signed up for. Against all odds, and agency protocol, he deeply connects with one of his charges, causing a chain reaction of events that shakes the afterlife to the core of its foundations. Not wanting to break any agency rules, yet desperate to help out his loved ones, he embarks upon a dangerous mission, defying the laws of life, and anything that lies beyond.
